Key professional milestones
Many years in management
Niels worked for over twenty years at Jyske Bank (Switzerland) as Chief Operating Officer and member of the Management Board. Most recently he was CEO of the successor company, Jyske Verwaltung AG. The main focus areas of his work were:
- holding overall responsibility for operations and IT and introducing new banking applications
- implementing and enforcing legal requirements and guidelines
- contributing to various committees and working groups within the company
Learning about banking from the bottom up
Before becoming Chief Operating Officer, Niels was in charge of various back-office departments at Jyske Bank (Switzerland) for a number of years. Before that, he spent several years setting up and managing the Securities Management department at Bank Leu AG in Zurich.
Other professional experience
As well as his work at various different banks, Niels also spent ten years as an auditor at the Association of Foreign Banks in Switzerland.

He speaks fluent German and English.
