Cultural change of scenery
Prior to joining MBaer Merchant Bank, Anthony spent six months on a student exchange in Medellín, Colombia at the Universidad EAFIT, where he was able to deepen his knowledge of business in a new culture while improving his Spanish language skills.
Different stations in banking
After a year and a half of internship and various stages within UBS in Private Banking and Corporate & Institutional clients, Anthony decided to move to Wealth Management Service Line and study Economics part-time at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland.
In order to broaden his skills in private banking and retail banking, he moved to Bank Linth in March 2020, where he gained valuable front-line experience. His core tasks there included supporting the client advisors and looking after demanding private clients.
Entry into professional life
Anthony entered professional life in the summer of 2017, where he worked in the back office of a call center. He then began his banking career March 2018 with a one-and-a-half-year banking internship "Program for Secondary School Graduates" at UBS Switzerland AG.
Qualifications
- Bachelor in Business Administration at the FHNW in Olten
- Bank internship for high school graduates (BEM internship) at UBS Switzerland AG
- High school diploma with focus on Italian at the "Freies Gymnasium" in Zurich
Anthony's native languages are Spanish and English. He is also professional in German and speaks fluent Italian and French.
